3.2. Intensive Olympic Training Centers (POTI). This initiative consists of creating/developing a training centre in Mathematical Olympiads for students from Campinas and region. This activity has a two-sided benefit: the program benefits with the capturing of potential talented students and the community benefits by fostering a taste for mathematics among young students. This activity is associated with the national Olympic polo program (http://poti.impa.br/) and is connected to the preparation/training of students for scientific Olympiads such as OBM, OBMEP and OMU. Since 2018, a new project for POTI at IMECC has been approved, under the coordination of Prof. Laura Rifo. In this new edition, invited speakers are: Gabriel Ponce, Ricardo Mirando and Diego Ledesma. The classes are organized by graduate students of the Mathematics, PROFMAT and PECIM programs, and are monitored by undergraduate scholarship students, most of whom have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. The program had 120 students enrolled in 2018, with approximately 90 hours of class throughout the year. We expect the same amount for 2019.

3.4. Project Medalists. Since 2015, this project has organized a meeting with medalists of scientific olympiads, with academic activities of interaction and integration with the institution. The project has attracted OBMEP and OBM medalists from across the country to Unicamp for a day of lectures on math. Some of the students who participated in the project became undergraduate students of Unicamp in mathematics, physics and engineering and had fellowships of Scientific Initiation within the PICME/OBMEP project. Faculties involved recently in this activity: Lino Grama, Ricardo Miranda, Henrique Sá Earp and Marcelo Firer.

4. Lectures Series, cIneMatECCa and Extension Bulletin:

4.1. Extension Lecture Series (CPE). The CPE was created and is coordinated by Professor Laura Rifo. Its activities started on 03/2016. It was created with the aim of highlighting the existing dialogue between mathematics and other expressions of the human intellect in the arts, sciences and technologies. The lectures, monthly and approximately 1 hour in length, are free and addressed to an audience of broad interest, not necessarily familiar with advanced math concepts.

The program is available on the page: www.ime.unicamp.br/~laurarifo/extensao/palestras.html.

4.2. Cinema Series of IMECC-Unicamp (cIneMatECCa). This activity was initiated on 03/2016 and coordinated by Prof. Laura Rifo, member of our PPG-M until 2017. In cIneMatECCa, we aim to show the mathematics captured/seen by filmmakers: films, documentaries and animations of the commercial and independent circuit. The cycle is free and open to the public.

More details can be found on cIneMatECCa's website http://www.ime.unicamp.br/~laurarifo/extensao/cinematecca.html

4.3. Extension Bulletin. This is a monthly publication addressed to the Unicamp community (students, teachers and staff), whose purpose is to publicize the extension activities of IMECC-Unicamp and temporary or permanent events of our research groups. We also have a section with curiosities or problems related to mathematics and its dissemination to a general audience. The Profa. Laura Rifo of our PPG-M kept the bulletin from 11/2015 to 06/2017, as Extension Coordinator of IMECC.
