This research aimed to study the spatial dependence of the penetration resistance
of soil maps and evaluate conditional probabilities, finding a threshold resistance to root
penetration and emergence of seeds. The geostatistical techniques are important tool for precision agriculture, because their use can cheapen the costs of monitoring soil compaction and simultaneously generate predictive maps of high quality.
