Geometria Riemann-Finsler com Aplicações em Geometria da Informação

Information Geometry is a new branch in mathematics, originated from the applications of Diferential Geometry to Statistics. This area emerged from investigating the geometrical struture of a family of probability distribuitions, and has been applied to various areas including statistical inference and information theory. This dissertation is an introduction to the geometry of information for a more general point of view using Riemann-Finsler Geometry and Spray Geometry.
