Visa and Passport
It is necessary that each participant require his own visa in the Brazilian consulate abroad. For citizens from the Mercosul countries a visa is not required, a valid ID document is enough. To get a visa the following documents may be required:

Currency
The currency in Brazil is the Brazilean Real (R$). The exchange of money and traveller checks can be done at banks and travel agencies.
Language and Climate
The official language in Brazil is Portuguese. January is a hot month with temperatures varying between 20°C (68°F) and 30°C (86°F), the average precipitation is 70mm per week.

Up to 90 selected students will be fully supported (flight ticket plus generous expenses) through a grant given by Fapesp, the Science Foundation of the State of São Paulo.
University of Campinas - Unicamp, Brazil
January 19, 2015 to January 30, 2015 (2 weeks long).
Graduate students in Mathematics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. A small amount of grants may be given to advanced undergraduates and fresh doctors.
Participants will be presented to many student and career options, including the possibilities of post-doc grants.
