I will describe the form of ROC and LROC data, and then explain how nonparametric inference can be developed for their analyses. I will then develop a random-sum Wilcoxon statistic and study its properties both through Monte Carlo simulations and the asymptotic approach. Finally, I will illustrate the results with two real-life data sets from cancer studies.
