What's the difference between Jörg and Joerg?

=======================================

The correct spelling of my first name is: 'Jörg.' Happy Grin

If no 'ö' is available, as is often the case on non-German keyboards, or where no 8-bit characters are allowed, as in e-mail addresses, this o-umlaut is generally replaced by 'oe', which leads to 'Joerg.' Sad Frown

The spellings 'Jorg' or 'Jöerg' are never ever correct. !@#$^%@$%^

The correct pronounciation of my name comes close to what English speakers would say if they had to read the word 'Yirk' or 'yerque.' (No, it's not jerque!) The 'ö' sound is pretty close to the sound of the 'o' in 'word' or the 'i' in 'girl'.
