Bachelor Degree in Physics at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Master Degree in Mathematics at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas and PhD Degree in Mathematics at the Oxford University, oriented by Simone Donaldson e Nigel Hitchin. Post-doctorate in Mathematicas at Yale University, the University of Pennsylvania and the Universidade of Massachusetts Amherst. He is at the moment "Professor Titular" at the Mathematics Department of the Universidade Estadual de Campinas. His research focuses in calibre theory and algebraic geometry, in particular on the study of vector bundles on projective varieties.
