Just three months separate this release from the previous one, but the amount of new features and bugs fixed is expressive. Last four posts introduced some of them, like still-incipient-but-already-functional support to clusters a la Moab, queues to job submission, an editor integrated into GêBR/DéBR, and much more. (Click here to read the rest of this entry)
Suppose you have some flows to be run one after the other. Now, GêBR supports execution queues, no matter you are submitting a flow to a cluster or to a regular desktop. Queues are created automatically. All you need to inform is after which running or scheduling flow you want to chain your flow. Of course, you can also run a flow immediately, like before.
Many usability issues were addressed in DéBR. The built-in help editor (see previous post) is one of the most visible features, but there are a lot of new ones, like a persistant toolbar to save menus no matter on which tab you are, faster parameter creation, safer list parameter handling, possibility to cancel any operation, besides copy and paste, also a cut tool for parameters, program’s version storage, and more. Also great effort was made to exterminate bugs. DéBR should now be much more reliable.
