Next week, Unicamp helds its first Winter Week on Geophysics, and GêBR will be there. The event is promoted by Computational Geophysics Group, as part of the Applied Geophysics National Institute activities. An introductory course on the GêBR interface will be given by Ricardo Biloti (July 22 and 23).
The UNIPAMPA, a new federal university at Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, is organizing the Second Academic Week in Geophysics (June 21-25). The GêBR Project will offer a short course on GêBR processing suite and introduction to seismic processing in time. The course will be conducted by Dr. Luis Alberto D’Afonseca, the Integration Manager of the GêBR Project. Consult the academic program here.
Tomorrow 4pm at CB04/UNICAMP, Fabrício M. Gonçalvez, the Development Manager of the GêBR Project, will present a technical talk about the practices employed in the GêBR development. The target audience is primarily composed by software engineers. The talk is held by the Free Software Seminar conducted by Islene Calciolari Garcia, from UNICAMP’s Institute of Computing. Everyone is welcome to join. No registration is needed.
