Many Faces of Distances is a three-day Workshop which will be held at Imecc/Unicamp (Campinas, Brazil) in October, 2014.

The Workshop will focus on mathematical problems related to the concept of distance arising from different areas of knowledge and applications, including robotics, nanostructures, protein structures, astronomy, networks and big data.

The contributions will be accepted as extended abstracts (maximum 3 pages) and will be exhibited in a poster session, one of the main activities of the Workshop. The best extended abstracts will be also presented orally.
